JAMMU & KASHMIR Army resorts to aerial firing after attacked by stone pelters in Shopian | KNO Published 259 weeks ago on May 16, 2019 By KashmirNewsObserver Srinagar, May 16: (KNO) An Army patrolling party of 44 Rashtriya Rifles on Thursday afternoon resorted to aerial firing after it came under attack of stone pelting in Aripora village of Shopian. A police official told KNO that there was no militant attack on the patrolling party but incident of stone pelting took place while army was patrolling in the area. "The party came under severe stone pelting attack at Aripora Shopian to which Army retaliated by firing aerial shots," police official said.
